Add or subtract days from a date

90 calendar days from today is

Quick answer

To count days between two dates, subtract the earlier date from the later one — this tool does it exactly, including leap years. To find a future date, add the number of days to your start date. Business days count only Monday to Friday, so 10 business days is exactly two working weeks. Public holidays are not subtracted, since they differ by country.

How the counting works

Inclusive or exclusive?

This calculator counts the days between dates — the end date minus the start date. From Monday to Friday of the same week that's 4 days. If you need to include both endpoints (common when counting nights vs days of a holiday, or some contract wordings), add 1 to the result.

Business days

Business (working) days skip Saturdays and Sundays. Ten business days therefore always equals two calendar weeks. Public holidays are not excluded, because they vary by country, region and year — if your deadline crosses a public holiday in your country, add the holiday days yourself or confirm with the organisation that set the deadline.

Leap years and month lengths

The tool uses your device's real calendar, so leap years (February 29) and different month lengths are handled exactly — no "every month is 30 days" shortcuts.

Frequently asked questions

How many days are between two dates?
Subtract the earlier date from the later one. For example, from 1 March to 1 June 2026 is 92 days (31 remaining in March + 30 in April + 31 in May). The calculator above does this exactly, including leap years.
What does "business days" mean?
Days from Monday to Friday, excluding Saturday and Sunday. 5 business days is one working week; 10 business days is two. Public holidays are usually also non-working but differ by country, so confirm locally for official deadlines.
Is the end date included in the count?
No — this tool counts the days between the dates (end minus start), which is the standard convention. Add 1 if your situation counts both endpoints.
How do weeks relate to days?
Divide the days by 7. 45 days is 6 weeks and 3 days; 90 days is 12 weeks and 6 days. The result box shows this breakdown automatically.
Why does "1 month" not always equal 30 days?
Months vary from 28 to 31 days, so "one month from today" lands on the same date next month, which can be 28–31 days away. When precision matters — contracts, visas, payments — count in days, not months.
